 The median wait gives you the time that 50% of people are seen within.
 The 75th percentile tells you the average wait for 75% of people. In short, three-quarters of people are seen within this time.
One line summary
On average, people are seen within 10 weeks of the referral being received. Fifty percent of people are seen in around nine weeks. Three quarters of people are seen within 12 weeks. Reasons that people might wait longer than 12 weeks typically relate to more information being requested. Please see our annual reports for more details about longer waits.
